Qaregnon is the eldest son of Somnan and Vána. Lemios, God of Lycanthropy and Willpower, is his younger brother. With his wife Dissero, he has one son, Eteral, God of Trade.

Chained, Championed, Chilled

Qaregnon is the first child of Somnan and Vána, and confirmed the suspicions regarding his mother's curse. He was born with destructive, Herculean strength, beyond his ability to control. From a young age, he willingly bound himself in shackles so that his power might be contained. He did so into adulthood, bound for over a thousand years. That is, until Zynterra disappeared. In the discord that followed, enemies of the Gods leapt at their moment of weakness with a vicious invasion.

The Seraphim were almost defeated. Somnan was moments from submission. In a desperate rage, Qaregnon shattered his chains, rescuing his father, then tearing through the invading forces, pushing them to a full surrender. As a display of gratitude, the Seraphim resolved to find a better means of controlling his strength. This search aligned with the onset of the Era of Frost, and it was quickly found that the intense colds could diminish his strength.

So Qaregnon spent centuries walking the frozen mortal world, while the Gods designed a cuirass that could chill his heart perpetually. He lent aid to those on the surface, within the limits of the agreements made at the Conclave, and became adored among mortals. Here too, he fell in love with his now-wife, Dissero. Today, Qaregnon is one of the most revered and widely worshiped Seraphim.

Appearance:

The appearance of the Seraphim morphs to resemble the race of the beholder. In many cases, the Seraphim appear human, as humans have long since monopolized art and depictions, skewing the expectations of other races. Though there are still many facets of a Seraph's appearance that are consistent across depictions.

Of the consistencies in Qaregnon's appearance, none are more distinctive than the piercing golden eyes. Though without the radiance of his mother's eyes, his gaze can feel just as scrutinizing. He gets his hair and sharp jaw from his father, in turn. His attire varies little, as he is often seen wearing the scintillating, scaled, blue armour that chills his heart and keeps his immense strength in check.
